Both the Australian and American Orthodontic Associations recommend a visit to the orthodontist at 7 to 8 years of age. This is when permanent teeth are starting to erupt and many problems with both the jaws and teeth can be quickly detected.
In most cases, young patients require little to no early treatment and instead are placed on our regular recall plan where we monitor the development of the teeth and facial features as your child grows.
When needed, Dr Saicich will recommend the best treatment options for your child with the aim of maximising efficiency and minimising treatment time.

The answer is YES!
Teeth can be moved at any age as long as you have good bone and gum health. Dr Saicich’s oldest patient has been 75 years old which goes to show that it’s never too late to have the smile you’ve always wanted.
The use of clear aligners has made orthodontics a lot more user friendly with the least impact on your quality of life. See if your problem can be solved using them.
